Quant old cottage with all mod cons in a unique setting in the lower town. Large kitchen and snug living room with a sea view from the top floor bedroom. Small garden in which to sit and feed the birds. Well priced, a sandy beach and plenty friendly eating out places.

The house was quirky and charming and well equipped for the size of family we were. It is possibly one of the most inaccessible houses we have ever stayed in but all houses in Robin hoods bay are similar and was one of its most endearing features. Very close to the beach which was fabulous and lovely little shops and places to eat. House was very hot because of the aga but I enjoyed cooking on it. Hoover didn’t work and it was quite sandy inside but I guess that’s one of the hazards of being near the beach. Lovely little garden opposite the front door which was great to sit in first and last thing. Overall would recommend but directions for where it was and how to access weren’t great. The hill climb back to where the car was parked while we stayed was fierce and I am fit! Be warned if you are elderly and infirm!WiFi instructions were lacking in holiday folder but thankfully a previous guest had written the password in the guest book and we have now put it in the holiday folder. What a beautiful destination though - make sure it’s on the bucket list.
