Coast Apartment in Whitby offers stunning views of the harbour and Abbey from a central, quiet location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped and spacious interior, as well as responsive customer service. While the many stairs and lack of WiFi may not suit everyone, most find the apartment comfortable and good value. Some areas, such as cleanliness and maintenance of communal stairs and windows, could be improved, but overall, the property provides a pleasant base for exploring Whitby.
Several guests noted that the apartment itself was generally clean and tidy, but there were repeated comments about the communal stairs and some areas inside needing a deeper clean. Issues such as dirty rugs, untidy stairs, and cobwebs were mentioned.
The location is highly praised for being central, quiet, and offering beautiful views of the harbour and Abbey. Guests found it convenient for exploring Whitby, though parking can be a minor challenge.
Most guests found the apartment spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and good furnishings. However, a few mentioned a hard mattress and the many stairs as potential drawbacks for those with mobility issues.
The apartment is well-equipped with kitchen appliances and essentials, but some maintenance issues were noted, such as a stuck window, broken blinds, and non-working heaters or remotes. The lack of WiFi was also mentioned as a downside.

The apartment was great, in the centre of whitby, with fantastic views. There are a lot of stairs leading to the apartment, so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The stairs leading to the apartment were a bit off putting, they were dirty and untidy, however once you get to the apartment it is very clean, spacious and comfortable.

A lovely place.

No hot water on arrival - immersion heater was in padlocked cupboard and turned off. Living room window had large gap - this had been commented on last year. Bedroom velux window blind broken. Living room TV remote was erratic - this had been commented on last year as well. Bed mattress was hard and bumpy. Reported to local office and hot water sorted first evening but nothing else done. Despite all that, in centre of town, good views and heaters worked.
