Guests say

Beachcrest in Whitby is highly praised for its comfortable beds, spaciousness, and excellent location close to the beach and town. The property's hot tub, table tennis, and garden are popular features. While some guests noted issues with bathroom size and privacy, the overall experience is very positive, with many recommending the property for family stays.

Guests consistently describe the property as spotlessly clean, with particular emphasis on the cleanliness of the beds and communal areas. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.

The property's location is frequently highlighted as perfect, with easy access to the beach and Whitby town centre. The proximity to local amenities, such as a pub serving meals, enhances the appeal of the location.

The comfort of the beds is often mentioned, and the living spaces are described as warm and comfortable. However, some guests found the sofas and mattresses less to their liking, slightly affecting the comfort score.

Facilities like the hot tub, table tennis, and kitchen equipment are well-received. However, there are comments about the need for better bathroom facilities, more rubbish bins, and maintenance of items like the BBQ and outdoor lighting, indicating room for improvement.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches such as a Christmas tree and complimentary tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits. It is important to note that while these gestures are well-received, such gifts may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Only thing was no tin opener or oven gloves. Fab location with parking which is always a bonus in Whitby. Would definitely recommend.

Beds very comfortable after long walks on the beach and trips along the coast. House situated in a quiet area with fabulous views from the kitchen window across the golf course to Sandsend and beyond - was spectacular watching the snow come over the land down to the sea - Pub across the road served excellent meals too Plans to update the property would improve the facilities but hopefully not increase the cost so to loose current customers. We hope to be back in 2025

Scenery is stunningly beautiful towards Sandsend, imho only spoiled by golf course! Lots of things were provided, most worked most of the time. Local folk were mostly very friendly and helpful, such as the maintenance men and Costcutter shop. It cannot be easy renting out a holiday home in these expensive & demanding times; as other renters have pointed out, converting this former guest house needs much investment (as does Whitby), obviously some has been done, some maybe still to do. We have stayed at some better Sykes and other cottages, but overall this met most of our needs for the price.
