Guests that stayed at this property said

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide an accurate score for this category.

The location is highly praised for its spectacular views, village setting, and easy access to Whitby and other local attractions. The proximity to a friendly local pub and the ability to enjoy walks and cycling in the area contribute to the high score.

The property is described as comfortable and well-equipped for large groups, with ample parking and comfortable beds. However, a minor criticism regarding the lack of heating in the conservatory/games room during colder months slightly affects the score.

Facilities like the modern kitchen, games room, and smart TV are appreciated, but there are comments about the need for more bins and a lack of heating in certain areas. Some minor maintenance issues like the door to the en-suite bathroom not closing properly have been noted.

Guests have mentioned a welcome pack and basic provisions provided, which are seen as thoughtful gestures. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed with every stay.

Only thing that let us down was the weather but that was out of everyone's control. Would definitely go back!

It is well equipped and has superb views. We all really enjoyed the stay.

I found the furniture although nice, to be very uncomfortable. Everything needed was provided, was very well equipped. Would have liked a bit more coal as the house cold in the evening. All in all an enjoyable stay.
