Arriving into Whitby, you can park roadside nearby before continuing on foot, leaving the car behind as you approach via a series of steep steps that lead you up to the cottage. The elevated position brings a sense of separation from the bustle below, and as you reach the front, a small seating area offers a place to pause and take in the surroundings before stepping inside.

Enter into the open-plan living space where your stay begins, stepping across wooden flooring that brings warmth underfoot, guiding you into a sociable sitting, kitchen and dining area. Settle into the leather sofa and switch on the mounted TV, or take a moment to admire the coastal images and artwork that line the walls, echoing the nearby shoreline. As evening falls, light the woodburning stove set within its exposed brick nook, where the soft flicker of flames creates a welcoming focal point for relaxed nights in. Move through to the kitchen area, where wooden countertops and patterned tiles add texture and charm, while the stylish fittings provide everything needed to prepare meals with ease.
