2 The Close is a contemporary, semi-detached bungalow located on the cliff-front of Robin Hood's Bay, with a magnificent garden overlooking spectacular sea views. This cottage is perfect for a restful retreat for either families or a group of friends wishing to escape to a wonderful coastal location. The well-equipped kitchen contains modern units and wooden surfaces; it includes a variety of utensils for all of your cooking requirements. The property also offers a spacious living and dining area, boasting a large TV and plenty of sofa space for a relaxing evening indoors.The dining room table is extendable, ideal to gather round and share a lovely home cooked meal.
The ground floor bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and toilet; ideal for cleaning up after taking a walk along the sandy beach. On the ground floor there are three double bedrooms, one containing king-size bed, one with a double bed and one with twin beds which can be put to a double upon request. One of the bedrooms has access to the conservatory via a set of double doors, perfect to watch the sunset or sunrise from your very own bedroom. There is a conservatory that has another dining table and chairs, another sofa and two arm chairs; again ideal for watching the sunset and sunrise or simply relaxing in.
Upstairs has a twin room, adjoining another room which has a day bed; both offer magnificent views of the seafront through the rooftop windows. There is a second bathroom upstairs which is spacious; fitted with both a bath and separate shower, again with excellent views of the sea. One of the many attractions of the property can be found outside; a large garden features an array of seating areas, also a beautiful decking area to watch the world go by above the cliff-tops. The spacious enclosed area is perfect for both the children and the dog to play safely under the sunset.
The property is just a short walk away from Whitby, the local museum and the North Yorkshire and Cleveland Heritage Coast. 2 The Close is a wonderful property in a beautiful location, perfect for scenic views and a restful stay.

Located between Scarborough and Whitby, this old fishing village can be found at the edge of a wide sweeping bay backed by spectacular cliffs surrounded by wonderful walks and mountains to explore.

We fed the birds some bird seed (which we always like to do wherever we go) and we were very surprised as we saw 11 varieties - Robins, Blue tits, Sea gull, Crows, Pheasant male and female, Chaffinch, Jenny wren, Black bird, Coal tit, Sparrow, Magpies and also some local Squirrels joining in with the melee. Perhaps this house should be a bird spotters holiday home too? There was a potentially big issue on Christmas eve as the boiler broke down but Andy was very quick to action and had an engineer out to fix it on Christmas day morning and everything was fine and we remained warm. Our dogs loved the garden and we loved the clear stary sky at night and lovely sunrises across the Bay. Thank you

The views are amazing and the conservatory is a wonderful place to enjoy them. The garden is lovely and although dog friendly, I would not say dog safe as there is an area at the bottom of the garden with the raised seating where they could easily escape. Andy is a fantastic host, on hand if needed. Thank you Andy, we hope to return in the not too distant future.

Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay on the Yorkshire coast. Great views from the garden and wildlife on your step. Looking forward to the next visit already.
