This cheerful detached lodge offers a warm and welcoming stay, situated in The Bay coastal village just outside the seaside resort of Filey. Families, couples or friends can enjoy a restful holiday, with this cottage being a fantastic base, after a long day exploring the local attractions. Wander inside to the sitting room, where you can relax in comfort at your own leisure and watch TV in front of the woodburner. A DVD player is included to complete the entertaining experience. The bi-fold doors bring natural lighting in, for a well-rounded effect and lead outside to a private decked area with furniture. The well-equipped kitchen with dining table and chairs offers a social yet homely set up to prepare and enjoy home cooked meals with family or friends. Two double bedrooms one king size and the other with zip-link beds so you have the choice of twin or double to suit your needs, are an elegant place to sleep and you can enjoy resting here at nighttime with a good book. Both have luxury en-suite bathrooms. Just a short stroll away is the John Paul Jone's Pub and Leisure Complex. The Leisure Complex boasts a heated swimming pool which includes a sauna and steam room. Bike hire and other leisure activities are also available to book at the Leisure Complex. A short walk from the property takes you to a stunning 5-mile stretch of golden sand which is both child and dog friendly. The village of Filey is where you will want to be, home to a far stretching beach, and Filey Brigg with its shallow rock pools to the north. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, just waiting to be explored. A short drive takes you to the town of Scarborough where you can visit the Alpamare Waterpark or take in some of the other great attractions that the area has to offer. Everything you need, to be entertained all year round.
