Nestled in the heart of the North York Moors National Park, Thirley Cotes Farmhouse is a newly refurbished Georgian farmhouse positioned on the outskirts of the peaceful village of Harwood Dale.

Inside, the spacious living room is the perfect setting for a night in with family or friends, with a wood burning stove to make things cosy after a long day walking. Upstairs, you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom with its king size bed offers the extra luxury of an en suite bathroom. On the second floor, you’ll find the fourth bedroom with twin beds. Family bathrooms on both the first and second floors mean no queues in the morning when the moors beckon!

The farmhouse is set within a courtyard of outbuildings, combined with the vast lawn at the front of the house, the opportunities to explore or simply enjoy the superb countryside views are endless. The private hot tub for six is the perfect antidote for weary legs, and there’s even a play area that’ll keep the children occupied for hours. Or, for those days when the kids fancy letting off steam, the TV and games room is home to a snooker table and a games console for family fun. 

Locally the surrounding area is ideal for walking and cycling while the charming seaside resorts of Whitby, famous for its fish and chips, and Scarborough with its seaside amusements are within easy driving distance.
During week days from 1st October 2018 – 30th April 2019 renovation works will be taking place at part of the Thirley Cotes Farm site. Whilst every effort will be made to avoid disturbance, some disturbance is possible.
