About this Holiday Cottage

This spacious and well equipped holiday house is able to accommodate up to six people. Situated in the village center right in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It is a great base for walking & exploring this wonderful countryside.

Inside

In the well equipped kitchen you will find an electric cooker, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster and sandwich toaster. The kitchen is fitted with a small breakfast bar there is also a large dining room. A comfortably furnished lounge boasts an open coal burning fire and there is also a flat screen TV with DVD player.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

On the first floor there is a large double bedded room and two twin rooms, all bedrooms have their own washbasins, the bathroom has a bathtub and separate shower there is also a separate toilet room.

Outside

At the rear of the house is a large garden with picnic benches and plenty of open space there are two smaller gardens to the front and side of the house.

Other Things to Note

All bed linen and towels are provided without charge.

Well behaved pets up to two are welcome at the discretion of the house owner. The House is a No Smoking Property a covered area is available.

Availability

Available from Saturday to Saturday throughout the year. June,July,August & September are particularly busy please check the availability calender. 

Around and About

A few minutes walk from the house at Goathland station you can board a steam train and journey on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. It is Only 8 miles from the coastal fishing town of Whitby. Where Captain James Cook set sail for his discovery of Australia. Several Tall Ships visit the Harbour. Close by are old ports of Staithes & Robin Hoods Bay. 

Directions

From the South leave the A1(M) at junction 45 follow the A64 past York, take the A169 continue past Pickering across the moors turning left for Goathland. From the North leave the A1(M) at junction 60 and take the A689 then the A19 south past Middlesbrough. Pick up the A171 towards Whitby then the A169 turning right for Goathland. Got sat nav?
