About this Holiday Cottage

Rowan Cottage provides delightful self catering holiday accommodation for up to six people in the village of Sleights, nestled between Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors. The cottage is the perfect base for touring the area and is well connected by road, bus and rail. During the summer months the North Yorks Steam Railway passes through the village's station, an ideal day out for the train buff! The cottage is known as 'The Old Police House' but the old cell now houses the freezer, tumble dryer and barbecue rather than criminals.

The cottage is newly furnished throughout and we have paid real attention to the little details to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The comfortable lounge has two leather sofas, a television with Freeview, DVD player and HiFi system. The dining area has ample seating for the whole family and a highchair is available on request. The galley kitchen is fully equipped to suit all your needs and there is a utility room with tumble dryer and freezer. The rear garden has barbecue facilities and outdoor furniture for those al fresco meals on the warmer evenings. Bedroom one is equipped with a king size bed whilst bedroom two has two three foot beds, both share magnificent views of the Esk Valley. The third bedroom offers acccommodation for two people in bunk beds.
