About this Bed and Breakfast

Keld Knowle Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast sits in a peaceful rural location in the Vale of Pickering on the southern edge of the North York Moors.  The market town of Pickering is less than 3 miles away and Kirkbymoorside is within easy reach.  Both Whitby and Scarborough on the coast are only a one hour drive of the farm.   Our family run working dairy farm covers 200 acres and as well as bed and breakfast accommodation in the main farmhouse we also have two onsite holiday homes available for self-catering lets.

Accommodation

Bed and breakfast accommodation in the main farmhouse. 

We have a recently refurbished double bedroom with original pitch pine panelling. 

The room is south facing with views of surrounding open countryside. 

A spacious ensuite bathroom has a bath and a separate shower.

A second double bedroom is also available.

Breakfast

A full English farmhouse breakfast is available (rooms with breakfast included are charged at £65 per night).

Other Facilities

We'll happily provide a children's cot or a folding bed if need.  Guests are welcome to relax in the lounge with a TV and a selection of games for children. 

Sorry no pets please - we are a working farm.

Availability

Discounts are available for longer stays.  Children under 5 years stay free.  Children from 5 to 12 years are charged at just £10 per night.

Two night stays or more are charged at £60 per room based on two sharing.  Bed with full English farmhouse breakfast - £65 per room per night.

Around and About

The farm is ideally situated within 3 miles of the market town of Pickering for events and rides on the North Yorkshire Moors steam railway.

A choice of walks are direct from our door, and local Wrelton village has a great pub serving food.  We're also only 1 mile from The Middleton Arms pub and close to charming local villages including Sinnington, Cropton, Apple le Moors and Rosedale.
