Had neighbour come and tell us off as we sitting late in hot tub. Owner then rang 2 minutes later about the same thing. We apologised as we hadnt read the rules. Next we were walking our small shitzu on a huge field behind the site. Had let him off lead as no one around. Neighbour came from nowhere and told us off for that. Apologised and put him on lead. Final straw was on final night we nipped out for takaway. As soon as came back owner rings with another complaint that Husband had apparently been speeding. Impossible. Its 5mph on a small circle of lodges. You couldnt possibly build speed up to go fast. 2 minutes later a worker on site knocks at our door about same thing. He stunk of alcohol and repeated same thing about 10 times at least. Our tea was freezing after 15 minutes stuck with him at door. We apologised. The only reason was to keep the peace.. They clearly shouldnt have guests paying lots of money to stay if they are gonna complain non stop. Plus it was not proffessional having 2 people at a time pick at us. The speeding was a total lie. We felt harrassed and were clearly being watched all the time. Even the owner lived about 3 lodges up. It ruined our holiday. Not good for normal familys. Great for anyone that wants to lock thenselves in the lodge and do as you are told!!!The only 1 positive was the lodge was very clean

This is a nice lodge, very clean. The master bedroom is a lovely size and has a very comfy bed with quality furnishings. The towels are plentiful and the kitchen is very well equipped. The welcome basket is a lovely touch and much appreciated. There are a few things however that need looking at. The temperature dial on the en suite shower doesn’t budge and therefore is really hot. The dishwasher door is really hard to open and needs looking at. The sofas in the lounge sadly aren’t very comfy. There aren’t many facilities on the holiday park but it is situated beautifully to visit some gorgeous local areas, ie Whitby, York, and Scarborough.
