Guests generally appreciate the clean, modern, and cosy chalet with a private hot tub. The property's peaceful location is well-regarded, though some guests noted a drive is needed for shops and dining. The chalet's cleanliness and the welcoming staff are frequently praised, contributing to a pleasant stay.
Most guests found the chalet to be clean and tidy, with particular mention of the hot tub's cleanliness. However, a few guests noted issues with cleanliness, such as unclean cups and robes, which slightly impacted the overall positive feedback.
The chalet's location is described as peaceful and picturesque, ideal for a quiet getaway. However, some guests mentioned the need to drive to access shops and restaurants, which suggests the location is somewhat remote.
Guests enjoyed the cosy atmosphere of the chalet, but several reviews mentioned an uncomfortable bed and issues with the door handle. The comfort level is generally satisfactory, but these points of discomfort affected the overall experience.
The chalet's facilities, especially the hot tub, are well-received. Nonetheless, guests frequently mentioned the lack of a proper fridge, cooking facilities, and issues with maintenance such as door handles and lighting, indicating room for improvement.
While some guests mentioned the provision of robes and towels, there is insufficient information on whether gifts or welcome packs were provided, and thus it cannot be determined if thoughtfulness was a consistent feature of the property's offerings. It should be noted that such amenities are not guaranteed.

This would have made the night time watching TV more comfortable and a slightly bigger air fryer to be able to cook for more than 1 person at a time.

5 and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was excellent value for money and the chalet was very clean and tidy upon arrival and the hot tub was all ready when we got there. There are lots of leaflets and a booklet of things to do in the local area, which is a great touch! I'd highly recommend trying The Foxhound Inn, which is 10 mins away and dog friendly! The site has a little play park for the little ones and the room was more than big enough for 2 adults, a 2 y/o and a dog. Also to mention, there is a air fryer, which was a great unexpected addition to the chalet. The owner was also incredible when we realised we left something there. We'll definitely be back, thanks again for the lovely get away!

Mattress let the place down as was very uncomfortable. Hot tub was a nice touch however very basic model that lost heat quickly and jets were not very powerful.
