Dyke Heads Stable is a well-received cottage offering stunning views, cleanliness, and a warm welcome. Guests have enjoyed the local walks, the nearby community-owned pub, and the thoughtful touches from the friendly owner. While the cottage is praised for its comfort and equipment, some guests noted the challenge of free-roaming cattle and steep stairs.
The cottage is consistently described as 'spotlessly clean,' indicating a high standard of cleanliness that guests appreciate.
The location is highly praised for its amazing views and proximity to walking paths in the dales, though the presence of cattle and steep terrain is a slight concern for some.
Overall, the cottage is considered comfortable and cosy, with many wonderful holidays reported. However, one guest mentioned an uncomfortable mattress, suggesting room for improvement in this area.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being well-equipped for a holiday stay. The suggestion of adding outdoor furniture indicates that while good, facilities could be enhanced.
Guests have mentioned scones, cake, and milk as a lovely welcome, reflecting the owner's thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such personal touches, while delightful, are not guaranteed.
