There are walks and cycle routes from the door and the popular market towns are a short drive away. There is a waterfall and brook with a patio area running by the property. The local hotel with bar and tea rooms is a short stroll away.

Lovely location, the cottage had everything we needed, and the local owner was very helpful. The little stream has a seating area in the sun, great for a gin and tonic before dinner. Lots of places to eat out although the local hotel no longer does evening meals. A great base for touring the northern Dales. Great area for bird watching, except Raptors that were mostly absent. Would definitely return
