Woodpecker also offers an exquisite family bathroom with contemporary tiling. The sitting area provides bi-folding doors which reveal an excellent decking with plenty of furniture to sit out and enjoy a drink whilst appreciating the views. This property is lovely and warm in the winter, and the bathroom has the extra addition of under floor heating. Gargave is a great place for a holiday with wonderful scenery and a fine selection of shops as well as places to eat and drink. The sublime market town of Skipton is nearby, offering fantastic facilities. For you outdoor enthusiasts, the Yorkshire Dales National Park is easy accessible if you are after walking, cycling and wildlife spotting opportunities. Woodpecker is a brilliant lodge in a lovely countryside location.

Gargrave is a pretty village around 7 miles from Malham, with its spectacular limestone cove and scar. In the village you will find a selection of places to eat along with a small selection of pubs, cafes and shops. Gargrave is a fantastic base for exploring this part of Yorkshire. Four miles away is the ancient market town of Skipton with its historic castle and High Street. On the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this is an ideal centre for walking, cycling and touring.
