My dog and I were warmly welcomed by Anne and the 'Welcome pack' was really appreciated; delicious eggs from the hens. I'd packed a 10 metre lead which was the perfect length for keeping my dog within the garden (the chicken enclosure being 10 metres from the door, on the other side of a low wall.). A bonus was the quiz night at the local pub! We made frequent visits to the nearby G&T's ice cream parlour which even does a doggy ice cream. I'd definitely recommend this cottage and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great location (close to the very lovely Ripon) with everything we needed for a couple of nights stay. We read the comments about the sofa but we found it very comfortable. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, the eggs in particular were delicious,

The only thing we would say is that the sofa needs to be replaced, as it is very uncomfortable.
