The River Nidd winds its way through the old town and there is an excellent park and fabulous cricket ground on the banks of the river. Excellent walking can be enjoyed from the doorstep, and the likes of Harrogate, with its fabulous shopping centre, and the market towns of Ripon, Richmond, Leyburn and Hawes are within easy reach. 5 , thankyou. Just a tip tho, we stayed a week so did some in house cooking. Sharper knives and a few more kitchen items would have been appreciated. But, great stay and perfect location!!

5. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed to get away from the world for a few days. The local amenities, pub, tea rooms, pancake house and take-away were all pretty close and were all excellent. Would definitely recommend No. 5 and weâre looking forward to our next visit
