Guests consistently praise the property for its stunning views, idyllic location by the river, and proximity to Grassington's amenities. The well-equipped house with a beautiful garden offers a homely and comfortable stay. While some minor issues with comfort and maintenance are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, making it a recommended choice for a delightful holiday in the Dales.
The property is frequently described as clean and well-maintained, with housekeeping receiving specific commendation for their excellent work. Only one mention of dust and dog hairs suggests a slight room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its stunning river views, easy access to local walks, and a short distance to the village centre. It is considered perfect for exploring the Dales and enjoying the local amenities.
The majority of guests find the property comfortable and homely, with spacious rooms and a cosy atmosphere. However, there are a few comments about uncomfortable beds and a cold basement room, which slightly affect the score.
The property is well-equipped, with a particularly well-appointed kitchen. Some guests suggest that certain items could be updated or added, such as a larger fridge and sunshade in the garden, but overall the facilities meet guests' needs.
While guests appreciate the welcome gifts of tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits, there are not enough references to consistently assess the level of thoughtfulness across all stays. It's important to note that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

The views over the river were absolutely breathtaking and made every morning feel special. The location was perfect â just a short, easy walk into the village, where we found all the amenities we needed. The cottage itself was ideal for our group of eight, with plenty of space for everyone to relax. It was well-equipped with everything we could need, and the décor was warm, cosy, and perfectly in keeping with the character of the house. The beds were very comfortable, which made for a great nightâs sleep after exploring the Dales. One of the real highlights was the garden. We spent many sunny days and warm evenings outside, enjoying the peaceful setting and stunning river views from the garden furniture. It was such a joy and really added to the charm of our stay. We absolutely loved our time at 1 Bridge End and are already hoping to book another stay very soon. Highly recommended! --- Would you like me to make this sound more like a **formal review for a holiday rental website (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com)**, or more like a **personal recommendation for friends/family**?

Accommodation stands in picturesque location, with views across to the river. Easy access to riverside walks with interesting features such as waterfall, bridges, weir, rolling countryside. House is within walking distance (uphill) to town centre, with all amenities - array of shops, cafes, restaurants and pub. (Setting of popular TV series, so busy at peak times) From location we travelled with ease to the beautiful city and gardens of Harrogate, and incredible Brimham rocks near Harrogate, the Brontẽ Heritage museum and pretty town of Haworth, the Stump Cross Caverns very near Grassington, and to the amazing Malham limestone paving. All in all, could easily have stayed another week.
