Guests consistently praise 'The Kerr' for its comfort, cleanliness, and prime location. The cottage's proximity to local amenities, the canal, and scenic walks, as well as its cosy atmosphere, make it a highly recommended stay. The welcoming pub nearby and the atmospheric church bells add to the charm of this holiday rental.
Reviewers frequently mention the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as 'very clean and comfortable', which indicates a high standard of hygiene and upkeep.
The location is highly praised for being central, with easy access to Skipton, local shops, and the canal for walks. The proximity to a church and pub adds to the appeal, although one mention of traffic suggests a slight deduction.
Comfort is a highlight, with guests noting 'comfortable beds', a 'cosy' environment, and a 'luxurious' bathroom. The presence of a powerful shower and blackout curtains also contribute to the overall comfort.
Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and modern appliances. However, a few minor suggestions for improvements, such as the addition of a hairdryer and shower shelf, slightly lower the score.
While guests appreciate the welcome and local information provided, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

There's a friendly caff close by and the Trawlerman chippie is 5 minute walk. For photographic interest I visited Haworth, Bradford, Hewenden and Thornton viaducts, Winskill Stones, Ilkley, Bingley 5 Rise locks. The storm stopped me trying Pendle Hill. The Kerr is a fine base for all of that.

Heather the owner met us on our arrival and could not have been more helpful and pleasant in giving us local information The cottage was cosy and very clean and tidy and the beds could not have more comfortable and there were lots of drawers and hangers for our clothes while the kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances. The cottage is ideally situated for going to Skipton and exploring the Yorkshire Dales as well as walking along the canal and there are plenty of nearby places to eat.

Could do with a shelf in the shower for toiletries. This is me being picky! Overall the cottage was beautiful, beds were very comfortable. Pub just over the road, very friendly and food was very good. Would recommend cottage.
