Even though the location was ideal lovely comfortable cottage with Grassington and skipton near by. Nice pub and walksHowever what's let's this cottage down was 1st the parking. No where to park at times you would not be able to park anywhere near the cottage every day we hoped there would be a parking spot on return. If you have difficulty in walking this cottage is not for you, and if it was raining you would be soaked by the the time you reached the cottage.Secondly the owners control the heating coming on at 4 going off at 10. We arrived just after 3 the place was very cold (March) it has a wood burner and cost an extra £25 for logs for only three nights if we stayed in and if we stayed a week it would have cost a lot more. Its the 1st place we have stayed where the owners have controlled the heat after all it is or should be in with the cost. This should be highlighted a little more fully in the description so people can decide before booking.

A lovely cosy cottage beautifully restored and decorated. Very comfortable sofas with a log burner and a wonderful chest full of games..what a treat. Perfect compact kitchen very well fitted out with crockery, cutlery glasses, fridge microwave etc. lots of hooks for coats. Comfortable bed and good ensuite. Very clean and quiet. Lovely to be by the stream, to leave the car and just walk. Super. Thank you

Primrose cottage is a lovely place to stay. It is in a very pretty village. The pub across the green has a good selection of ales and the food is excellent. Parking was no problem in March but I can imagine it's more challenging in the summer. The cottage is small but has everything you need. There was enough fuel for the log burner - which does heat the cottage well. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it
