The village of Buckden is home to a village supermarket and the popular Buck Inn, meaning everything you need is at your convenience. Spend the day exploring Buckden's National Trust properties, Townhead Barn and The Old Smithy, or embark on a hike up Buckden Pike. Walkers will be especially pleased with the property's location, with The Dales Way trail on your doorstep, and the hiking trail up Birks Fell situated behind the dwelling. Be sure to travel to Grassington and learn of the town's history at the Grassington Folk Museum, explore St Michael & All Angels Church, before wandering further afield to the mystical Linton Falls. Hawes is a fantastic day out and is home to the historic Gayle Mill, Dales Countryside Museum and ample galleries for you to tour. Travel a little further to Skipton where you can view the well-preserved Skipton Castle, savour a picnic at Aireville Park or browse the local produce and delicacies at the popular Skipton Market.
