A very smart and spacious house, warm, quiet and very comfortable. The hosts, Mark and Alison, were pleasant, helpful and quick to respond when there was a minor problem. For walkers, the house is ideally placed as it's easy to walk into Grassington, Linton and Burnsall from the house itself and other routes are easily accessible. Access to the cottage/parking is via an electronic gate onto an angled driveway through stone buildings - not for the nervous driver - but then I understand it's usually possible to park elsewhere close by. Hebden itself doesn't have any shops but there are small supermarkets a few minutes' drive away at Grassington and Threshfield and a range of larger supermarkets at Skipton.
