Buckden 1 mile.
A traditional semi-detached barn conversion, situated on a working farm between the village of Buckden and the tiny hamlet of Hubberholme. Grange Cottage is full of character, boasting beams throughout, and offers comfortable, well-equipped accommodation. Set in a quiet, peaceful location, the property also enjoys superb views of the surrounding countryside. This is an ideal location for walkers, with numerous footpaths, circular walks and the River Wharfe just on the doorstep. With Malham Tarn and Kettlewell just a short drive away, and the towns of Grassington and Skipton also nearby, this is a superb location in which to enjoy a great holiday at any time of the year.
Situated at the foot of Buckden Pike near the head of Upper Wharfedale, the idyllic village of Buckden makes a wonderful base for those looking to explore the scenery and picturesque villages of this magnificent Dale. Protected by the National Trust, this region boasts dry-stone walls and barns, flower-rich hay meadows and valleyside woodland. There are also numerous bridleways and footpaths throughout the region, making this a great place for ramblers and cyclists. Buckden itself is composed of a cluster of stone built cottages and houses with a traditional green at its centre - home to the famous âBuck Inn' â a lovely Georgian coaching inn retaining much of its old world charm.

The cottage had everything we needed. With lovely, peaceful surroundings we settled in immediately. Enjoyed a walk to the waterfalls and visited the quaint little church in Hubberhome which was open. We would like to come back and enjoy the beautiful area in the summer.

Sarah was very welcoming and always around if needed. The cottage has everything you require for a warm and relaxing stay, great local pubs and superb walks from the doorstep. Just home from home is best how to describe this gem of a property. We will certainly return at some point. Thank you Sarah. David & Erna
