The designated chef will delight at the fully-equipped kitchen with double electric oven, induction hob and dishwasher, handy for cleaning up. Enjoy the meal they have prepared as a group at the large dining table and catch up on the day's events; later make your way into the garden to enjoy your favourite tipple at the garden furniture while the sun sets over Tosside. When sleep calls, the first floor houses a super-king-size zip/link room for flexibility, a king-size with en-suite shower room and two twin rooms, all are furnished with ample storage for your belongings and are serviced by the ground-floor shower room or sleek family bathroom with whirlpool/jacuzzi bath. Be sure to get some well-earned rest before another fun-filled day in North Yorkshire. After taking advantage of the on-site facilities, you can venture to the centre of Tosside where you can enjoy, food, drinks, tea and desserts at The Old Vicarage Tea Rooms or head to the nearby town of Settle home to some of the most beautiful natural attractions in England, including the Scaleber Force Waterfall and Victoria Cave. In addition, Settle is home to some great restaurants and bars, including The Golden Lion and The Craven Arms which are great for the evenings when you don’t fancy cooking! Or take a short drive to Skipton, a historic market town with one of the oldest and largest markets in the UK that has been held in the town centre since 1204. Skipton Castle, built in 1090, is one of the most well-preserved castles in England and is open to the public for tours and events; refuel at The Woolly Sheep Inn, a traditional English pub serving locally-sourced food and drink. The Forest of Bowland AONB and the Yorkshire Dales National Park lie close to the cottage and are bursting with trails, walks to explore and breath-taking views to admire. Bowland Fell Cottage is a fabulous setting for family gathering in the heart of North Yorkshire.

Tosside is a small, picturesque village in the Yorkshire Dales, located between the Forest of Bowland and the Dales themselves and about fifteen miles from Skipton, also known as The Gateway to the Dales. After boundary changes in the 1970s, the village, which was historically a part of Yorkshire, is now split between the two counties of Yorkshire to the east and Lancashire to the west. There is a community centre, church, and bar in the village. While the fells, moors, and picturesque valleys of the Dales rise to the north, the wetlands of the Ribble Valley rise to the south, and the magnificent wilderness of Bowland rises to the west. Guests can take a day trip to nearby Settle, a thriving market town dominated by the Shambles, a historic three-story building with shops on two levels and houses above, or take a ride on the world-famous Settle-Carlisle Railway line, which traverses some of the most breathtaking and awe-inspiring upland scenery in the country. Visit Clitheroe, a thriving market town with a castle, great food, and welcoming pubs.
