The location of Mere Brook Lodge is great for a world of fun on Lake Windermere, with kayaks and paddle-boards available to hire so you can explore England's largest lake at your leisure, or hire a boat to head to all the little islands and shorelines well worth exploring. Windermere Cruises will take you up and down the lake providing an easy way to explore the lovely towns of the Lakes, with Ambleside being a great stop to explore the local shops and boutiques before setting off an a ramble to Stock Ghyll Force, a scenic waterfall. Enjoy fun watersports on Lake Windermere, embark on challenging hikes over the surrounding fells, or take leisurely cruises along the water without moving a muscle, there's something for everyone.
