We absolutely loved the little cottage and the owners were so informative and welcoming, which made the pre-arrival really easy. The only feedback would be to update the signage on the road as it is really hard to read/find and it's the best lighting in that area as it's just a field. The what3words was really useful too but I wondered if it would be better to do it from the gate entrance, as it took me to the owners house, which I felt embarrassed about. We also had a takeaway one night and the driver could not find the entrance, so we had to go out in Storm Amy, in the dark and try and help him — torches would be a nice touch actually for this, if they're not already provided. We had a night in the hot tub which was lovely, a little bit snug and could do with being a little bit hotter (36 degrees at the time), but other than that, it was the perfect little touch to the weekend. We thought at the time that it would be useful having somewhere to hang your robes/towels as well, as we had to lay them on the damp floor for when we got out, which wasn't ideal. The fire was perfect and there were plenty of wood / fuel to get it started. And the supplies like washing up liquid, sponges, dishwasher tablet, foody bits were a great help – not stuff you tend to think of when you travel for the weekend, so thank you for that.Overall, it was a beautiful, simplistic time away living in the cottage for the weekend and we've all said we'd definitely come back again!
