Set in 10-acres of beautiful countryside, these contemporary holiday cottages offer lovingly furnished and comfortable holiday accommodation. Four of the cottages enjoy access to a shared central glass atrium, providing an internal patio area. Children and adults alike can enjoy the owners’ collection of farmyard animals including goats, pigs, sheep, ponies, donkeys, and poultry. With a designated dog walk in the grounds, visitors’ pets are made to feel very welcome here too. Mappleton Sands are close by, ideal for summer picnics on the tranquil sandy beach or a cliff top stroll, and a 4-mile drive takes you to the seaside town of Hornsea with The Mere, a birdwatcher’s paradise and where boats can be hired for rowing and fishing. Here you are also within easy reach of the historic town of Beverley with its minster and renowned racecourse, and the award-winning aquarium ’The Deep’, in Hull city centre. There are stately homes at Burton Agnes and Sewerby Hall, and further inland lies the rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds, the inspiration for David Hockney’s famous paintings. The nearby pub which is 400 yards away is closed at the moment but we have lovely pubs in nearby villages of New Ellerby and Withernwick. Shop 4 miles.

This place surpassed my expectations. Owners are very welcoming peopleThe accomodation is first class and the hot tub is a fantastic addition.Give it a try you will not be disappointed absolutely first class. Would be nice if there was pub where you could eat within walking distance but can drive short distance to a lot of choices.

We had an amazing time at the Hayloft. The accommodation was perfect for a couples break away. Hornsea is just 12 minutes away and the outskirts of Hull only a little further. The area surrounding the Hayloft is lovely with the animals that you can feed that are all so friendly and inquisative. Even though we had snow in a couple of days we were lovely and warm inside. The hot tub was also a lovely luxury too even on the coldest days. Highly recommended. We hope to come back again.

Perfect hosts, the hayloft was perfect and felt very romantic and the hot tub was private we also loved feeding the donkeys, pigs & goats with carrots 😊
