About this property

Burton Pidsea 4.2 miles. Tucked away in a breath-taking setting within the East Riding of Yorkshire, Fox's Den is an idyllic converted barn, sure to add a touch of luxury to any self-catering stay. Set back from the hustle and bustle of the city of Hull, this peaceful cottage is perfect for couples seeking an escape from everyday life. As you enter this glorious abode, discover the rustic charm of the open-plan living space, beautifully appointed with two large leather chesterfields and a sleek 50" Freeview Smart TV, as well as a rustic dining table and well-equipped contemporary kitchen hosting all the necessary appliances. Climb the staircase to the first floor where you can make yourself feel right at home as you unpack your belongings into the storage provided within the grand king-size bedroom, decorated with a chic green velvet bed frame and complete with a stunning en-suite bathroom hosting a striking slipper bath and handheld shower. Across the way, a second bedroom boasts a charming iron-framed double bed and a bright en-suite shower room, where you can freshen up at the end of your days. Located in the middle of the Holderness peninsular in East Yorkshire, the quaint rural village of Burton Pidsea is only six miles from the coast. There are a few pubs in town, as well as a general store and church. Around it are miles of smooth country roads ideal for cycling and ambling. Hedon, a historic district with modern conveniences close by, is a great place to visit. Hull, the 2017 City of Culture, is just 7 miles from Burton Pidsea and is home to the wildly successful Truck Theatre and the fantastic The Deep aquatic centre. Seeing Hull's old commercial heart is a fascinating experience that reveals the city's rich history. Large, sandy beaches stretch from Spurn Point to Bridlington, and the Flamborough Cliffs, Bempton Marshes, and Spurn Point rspb Reserves are all fantastic spots for birdwatchers. The wonderful historic City of York is only a short drive away, and neither is the horse racing at Beverley nor the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds.

20 mins drive in to Hull. Easy access to coast. Facilities and decir were of the highest quality. Exceeded our expectations and we would certainly stay again.

The hot tub was a real bonus and very well maintained. had extra beach towels and games, another plus. not ideal for those without their own transport, as there are no shops or public transport nearby. generally well equipped. ( would benefit from some oven gloves or tea towels to remove hot items from oven) I would highly recommend this cottage. Thank you
