Stamford Bridge 2.4 miles. Dating back to when Full Sutton Hall was built and forming the east side of the court yard the Coach House was constructed to originally provide stabling for horses and garaging for two horse drawn coaches, together with living accommodation for the groom. It has seen many changes since then, but is now a comfortable two-bedroom house, with a downstairs large bedroom with en-suite. On the first floor there is a fully fitted modern kitchen/dining room, with views over the grounds to the front of Full Sutton Hall. There is a modern luxury bathroom with shower and corner bath, and a spacious lounge with a wood burning stove fitted. There is a “smart” TV fitted with an Amazon Firestick generation 2 for extensive viewing channels and films to stream. There is a second double bedroom on this floor. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building and grounds. Access is via a gated driveway and there is dedicated parking for two vehicles. Access from the parking area into a securely fenced orchard and large lawned area, with outside table and chairs, loungers and a large barbeque and floodlight to enable those extended al fresco evenings. The grounds of the Hall back onto open countryside, and there are many species of wildlife in the gardens. Cattle, sheep and donkeys from a nearby farm are often in fields opposite the orchard. The Old Coach House is situated just 11 miles from the centre of York, which is renowned for its historical connections and some first-class shops and restaurants. We are located on the edge of the delightful Yorkshire Wolds, it is an ideal location to relax and plan some exciting visits around the area. There are numerous delightful Wolds towns and villages to explore, and many excellent restaurants and pubs nearby. A little further afield is the East Yorkshire coast with centres including Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes and many more hidden beaches and costal walks.
