Snaptrip says

Plough Cottage receives high praise for its cosy charm, modern amenities, and cleanliness. Guests appreciate the warm welcome from hosts Rachel and Jim, and the property's rural setting offers tranquillity and proximity to local attractions. While one review mentioned an issue with the underfloor heating, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage is consistently described as exceptionally clean, with multiple reviews highlighting its spotless condition. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness maintained by the hosts.

The location is praised for its peaceful rural setting and accessibility to nearby beaches and towns. It is considered a good base for exploring the area, although one review mentioned the surrounding roads being a bit difficult to navigate.

Comfort is generally rated highly, with the cottage described as cosy and well-appointed. However, one review cited discomfort due to non-adjustable underfloor heating, which slightly impacts the overall comfort score.

Facilities are well-regarded, with the cottage being described as well-equipped and offering everything needed for a stay. The mention of a bread bin as a potential addition is the only minor suggestion for improvement.

Guests mention thoughtful touches like a welcome drink and homemade bread, which contribute to a positive experience. While these gifts are appreciated, it is noted that such extras are a kind gesture and may not be a standard offering for every stay.

The location is excellent, and the walks around the opposite fields are wonderful. Best small cottage we've stayed in for a long while.
