We couldn't fault this cottage. We had the log burner on a couple of evenings, it was really cosy. Apart from your clothes and food, you don't need to take anything else. Leave the kitchen sink at home!. Nice little welcome gifts, milk, wine and biscuits. Tea, coffee, sugar as well as pepper and salt to use, plus any cleaning products you're likely to use. The whole cottage was spotlessly clean, quite and welcoming. Ideal place for families, young, old as well as teens. There is something for every one. Don't forget the carrots the animals love them.

Same as all the other reviews, with good reason. Superb property with lots of charm. Spotless and clean, enough kitchen equipment to cook for an army on campaign. Lovely outdoor areas, animals, toys for the kids, dvds, everything really. No negatives at all, other than we only booked for 3 nights.

Absolutely brilliant place to take children. I have never stayed at a cottage that had so much equipment for children. We visited with our three and five year old grandchildren they loved having the freedom to play in a safe environment. Feeding the animals and collecting fresh eggs were a highlight. The cottage itself had everything we required to have a relaxing holiday. Will definitely return. Welcome pack was a lovely touch.
