Guests say

Alderson Mews is a well-received cottage, praised for its spotless condition, cosy and comfortable atmosphere, and the added luxury of a hot tub. It's situated in a peaceful location, ideal for exploring the East Coast and Yorkshire Wolds. Guests appreciate the secure garden for pets, the proximity to local amenities, and the property's suitability as a base for visiting nearby attractions.

Guests consistently note the cottage's spotless condition, even highlighting its cleanliness despite being pet-friendly. One review mentioned the need for TLC, but this seems an outlier against the overall high praise for cleanliness.

The location is described as peaceful and quiet, ideal for relaxation and local walks, with a pub nearby. It's also mentioned as a good base for exploring nearby towns and attractions. However, the lack of a local shop in the village slightly impacts the score.

Many reviews describe the cottage as cosy, comfortable, and homely, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. One review mentioned the need for updates, but overall, guests seem very satisfied with the comfort provided.

Facilities like the hot tub are frequently praised, and the cottage is described as well-equipped. However, one review mentioned issues with accessibility for disabled guests and another noted a poor-performing hoover, suggesting some room for improvement in maintenance.

While some guests mention a welcome pack, the contents vary and are not consistently described across reviews. As such, it's not possible to accurately assess the thoughtfulness based on the available information, and the score is set to null.

2nd visit to this lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean (no trace of being a pet friendly holiday let). Well equipped and the hot tub is a welcome bonus. Owner very helpful and easily contactable in case of any problems but we didn't need to. Would highly recommend this cottage as a base for exploring East Coast and Yorkshire Wolds.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is lovely, just needs a few things updating which the owner knows about and is going to rectify. Our dog loved the enclosed garden and we enjoyed using the hot tub. Driffield is a lovely place which is near by with lots of cafes, shops, pubs and a Tesco Would definitely come back again
