This ground floor apartment is just across the road from the beach and is perfect for a family holiday. The courtyard to the rear of the property is enclosed, and there is a ramp entrance directly into the conservatory for easy access. Guests are welcome to use the restaurant, bar and entertainment facilities at the Hotel Expanse which belongs to the same owner. The apartment has a spacious kitchen/dining area with all modern amenities, and French doors lead into the bright conservatory.
Fisherman’s Friend makes a great base for a family holiday. Why not visit the Yorkshire Wolds and the North York Moors National Park, have a day out in York or Hull, or just have a lazy time on the beach?
Bridlington has plenty of restaurants, bars and shops as well as a busy working harbour. It’s also home to Bridlington Spa Theatre, a great venue for international acts. There’s two golf courses close by and also a leisure centre with challenging climbing walls and a swimming pool.
Danes Dyke Nature Reserve is along the cliff tops and is well worth the walk. Great for walking the dog, or if the children prefer, there’s the land train taking you as far as Sewerby. Beach 100 yards. Shop 1¼ miles, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

I was a bit apprehensive about the property before I arrived due to the previous reviews and no interior pictures. However, on arrival I was very impressed. Yes the accommodation is tide and looks like many happy holiday stays have been made here, but the beds are comfy, the shower is good and you have the beach is on your doorstep. I know the facilities are tied and a neglected and need some TLC but they are of good quality and if were updated you would be paying a lot more for this accommodation. I would recommend this apartment if you want somewhere cosy to stay with off street parking and the beach on your doorstep. Great base for those who like walking or if you just want to relax by the sea and watch the world go by. Not ideal for those who want 5* accommodation but pay budget prices. Will definitely book again.

Wouldn’t cancel even though a parent was having a serious operation two weeks before arriving. Could have changed the date but wouldn’t accept that either

Excellent apartment which ticks all the boxes. Large comfortable lounge and huge well equipt kitchen. Beds are very comfortable, constant hot water and central heating keeps the whole house pleasantly warm. Then, the location across the road from the seafront is the icing on the cake. We would love to visit again next year but I think we'll have to book early
