Corner House can be on a quiet resident street within the vibrant seaside town of Bridlington on the stunning North Yorkshire coastline. Throughout this one bedroom property is bright, airy, and offers fabulous accommodation for two wishing to enjoy this most beautiful part of Yorkshire.
Enter Corner House via a small entrance hallway which provides storage for walking boots and coats and then into the large, homely living/dining room. Large deep filled sofas surround the large flat screen TV which is wall-mounted, offering a cosy spot to snuggle up in on an evening to watch your favourite holiday movie. The dining table sits to one side and offers plenty of seating for two. Step through in the immaculate kitchen, here you will find a host of modern appliances including an electric oven, ceramic hob and a dishwasher. There is plenty of work top space to prepare a delicious evening meal or perhaps a tasty picnic to enjoy whilst exploring the stunning coastline. Retire on an evening to the first floor via the spiral staircase. Here you will find a large super kingsize zip and link bedroom with a wall-mounted TV and walk-in wardrobe. The house bathroom sits across the hall and offers a P shaped bath with double headed shower over and a heated towel rail. To the rear of this holiday home is an enclosed garden with seating. Paved throughout it is just perfect for your four-legged friend to enjoy some outside time. Enjoy an early morning coffee whilst planning the day ahead or during the summer months enjoy an al fresco evening meal.
Bridlington is a fabulous base for a coastal break, this popular seaside spot offers everything that you could ask for, from a number of quality amenities to its glistening beach and picturesque harbour. There is also a long promenade for afternoon strolls and a train if you become too tired to walk back! Wander around Bridlington’s Old Town, enjoy the stately home of Sewerby Hall and Gardens, or marvel at the wildlife spectacle at rspb Bempton Cliff and the seals at Spurn Point. A short drive away will bring you to the coastal towns of Filey and Flamborough, and the historic City of York is just an hours drive away. We had a really lovely stay at this cosy one up, one down house in Bridlington. It’s in a great spot – about a 25-minute walk to the beach and town, and only a couple of minutes walk to the supermarket and The Friendly Forester Pub that does good food.There were lots of nice walks straight from the house – we’d definitely recommend heading to Danes Dyke Beach and on to Flamborough, the views are gorgeous.The house had everything we needed and was really comfortable. The welcome pack with biscuits and milk was a lovely touch too! Perfect base for exploring the area – would happily stay again.

Compact but clean and modernised. A quiet location just a short walk from a supermarket and popular pub/eatery. Very well placed to get on the road surrounding attractions.

This is our second stay at The Corner House & we would recommend it, the property is well equipped & comfortable, with private enclosed seating area at the side.An easy walk (or bus ride) into Bridlington, with regular services to Filey & Scarborough, also to Flamborough. The old town is worth a visit with several nice cafes. Dads Army was filmed in the old town, which we enjoyed seeing photos of in some of the shops windows.We are looking forward to visiting in 2026.
