Snaptrip says

Guests generally enjoy the cosy cottage in Hebden Bridge, appreciating its peaceful location, comfortable furnishings, and the added luxury of a hot tub. The picturesque surroundings and proximity to local amenities, including pubs and the town centre, are frequently praised. While some guests mention thoughtful touches like welcome gifts, others suggest room for improvement in certain areas.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests find the cottage clean and well-maintained, though there are a few reports of issues such as mould and a lingering fish smell in the fridge, which suggest occasional lapses in cleanliness standards.

The location is highly regarded for its picturesque setting and tranquillity, with easy access to local pubs and Hebden Bridge. Some guests find the distance to the town centre misleading but still appreciate the area.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a particularly cosy bedroom and a relaxing hot tub. However, some mention that the sofa and shower could be improved for enhanced comfort.

Facilities like the hot tub are a highlight, and the cottage is generally well-equipped. Some guests note minor issues with appliances and a lack of basic supplies, which slightly detract from the overall experience.

While some guests mention thoughtful gestures such as welcome gifts, these are not consistently reported across reviews. As such, it cannot be guaranteed that such gifts will always be provided, and the score is set to null due to insufficient information.

Good location with shop nearby and pub nearby when open. Good bus service into town. Good walks from the door. Cottage would benefit from an information booklet and better fitting front door and lock.

Paul , the host came to check the hot tub half way through the week and is a lovely chap. Once we had navigated the bus timetable , we had a lovely downward walk in the wood to Hebden Bridge town centre and got the bus back most days . We did find other ways to walk to Hebden and always got the bus back. We have already recommended the accommodation to 2 friends who are keen to book . We would definitely like to return later in the year .

The cottage was small but easily adequate for two people. The bedroom was lovely. On the negative side the shower is a bit small for a large bathroom and wasn't very strong. The sofa wasn't too comfortable either. Also it would have been nice to have had a few basic items supplied I.e. salt and pepper pots, tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil and cling film etc. But all in all a nice place for a short stay.
