The accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped, with lots of extra touches, the kitchen has everything even a garlic crusher! Shower and beds great. The under floor heating kept it toasty as did the log burner. But the views and location are what make this place extra special! Nestled in to the countryside there are views across the valley from the amazing windows and you can see the weather coming! Claire gave us a great welcome and told us of the short walk to the waterfall which you can hear as you sit in the hot tub! Sitting in the hot tub looking at the stars was a highlight for us all as were the barn owl’s who coursed along the hill side. Don’t forget to take binoculars as the bird feeder was a busy spot and great to look at as you drink your morning coffee! Thanks Claire and Steve we loved our first visit to the beautiful county of Yorkshire.

The property itself was really really nice. We loved how modern it felt with the facilities and interiors. The underfloor heating was essential given how cold it was outside and the log burner was very nice at nights. The hot tub was very nice but sadly with the times we got back from our day trips we weren't able to put it to it's full use. With our stay we had very little reason to contact the owners but in our few interactions with Claire she was very friendly and helpful and patient with us explaining the different procedures and operations of the lodge. Would 100% stay again. We both agreed this was the nicest place we have stayed at on a holiday/break away

Claire greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the accommodation. She was very helpful and welcoming, explained things, and gave us recommendations of things to do in the area. There was also a very useful information folder with more suggestions of local areas of interest, places to eat, walks to go on etc which came in very handy. The property itself was in a lovely rural location. It was spotless, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, and warm and comfortable, with the added bonus of a wood fired hot tub which was great after a day out walking and exploring! We would thoroughly recommend.
