About this property

This end-of-terrace cottage lies just a moments stroll from the winding streets of the village centre of Haworth, tucked away within the historic Brontë Country. Hosting two delightful bedrooms, 9 Little Street is a delightful base to call home while exploring the beauty of Yorkshire. Be greeted by the open-plan living area, complete with a mix of contemporary and character touches, such as the woodburning stove and exposed beams. The kitchen is compact but comes well-equipped with all the essentials, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine, plus a tiled splash back and oak worktop combine for a lovely cooking area. On the first floor lies a double bedroom, enhanced with wooden furnishings and matching lamps, whilst on the second floor rests a single with trundle bed. Trudle bed is ideal for additional younger guests. Completing the interior of 9 Little Street is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Sip on your morning coffee from the small garden, with table and chairs to relaxing on, before finding the ingredients for a hearty breakfast in a nearby shop. If you fancy a night away from the kitchen, Haworth offers a selection of traditional inns and restaurants, along with many shops for picking up sweet treats and gifts to take back home. Learn about local history on a visit to the Brontë Passage Museum, or if you’re feeling adventurous, pop on your walking boots and head for the Heathcliffe and Catherine trails, offering a scenic route along the famous Top Withens. Skipton can be reached in 11 miles, offering a lively atmosphere around its cobbled streets, independent shops, eateries and its iconic castle which dates back to 1090. With all this, plus the spa town of Harrogate and the Yorkshire Dales easily accessible, 9 Little Street provides an unforgettable stay, whatever time of year.

The little village of Haworth is most famously known for being the home of the Brontë sisters, and has become an undisputed literary mecca ever since. With its cobbled Main Street, quaint passageways and rolling moors, Haworth exudes a vintage charm that makes you feel like you've stepped into another era. Nearby, visit the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an old steam railway which was brought to life in the film The Railway Children. Thirteen miles away lies the market town of Skipton, home to a plethora of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as being the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.

Instructions to find were simple and accurate and was comfy little cottage. If your bad with knees the steep steps as with lot of properties in this area may need consideration. We had all we needed the only addition I would suggest would be addition of small microwave overall had great stay and most likely to book again

On the small side but ideal for a short break for 2 people and dog. We couldnt get any regular tv channels but this didnt bother us too much as we could still access bbciplayer, netflix etc, and we spent most of our time out walking and visiting the local shops and pubs. Wouldnt recommend to anyone with mobility problems as stairs a bit awkward and bed very low, though we found it very comfortable. Overall a very nice stay. Thank you.
