Conveniently located to visit Leeds, Wakefield, Sheffield, Barnsley and the Motorway. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park can be accessed only a short drive away and provides excellent walking on well made paths. The 500 acre park is yours to explore through open fields, woodland and lakeshore paths. Exhibitions and works of art by internationally renowned artists are on display throughout the grounds while refreshments can be found at the sculpture park's own cafe and restaurant. The cottage is also well placed for visiting the Hepworth, in Wakefield, and the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds. Head through the front door into the large kitchen with breakfast bar. Prepare a meal in the well equipped kitchen with an electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. Moving through into the open plan lounge/diner. The lounge area has comfy seating, a TV and a wood burner so you can relax with some quiet time after a long day or you can cosy up on the sofas with something good on the TV. The dining area seats ten, ideal for a celebration or catching up with friends and family. On the ground floor there are also two double bedrooms, and the family bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Heading upstairs to the first floor are two further bedrooms. The master bedroom is a large bedroom with king size bed and additional separate single bed, and velux windows with rural views, and an en suite shower room and WC. There is a second double bedroom, also with additional single bed, this room has a large picture glass wall with views down to the lounge and curtains. Venturing outside to the garden, you will find a seating area perfect for dining alfresco, a hot tub, and a sunken trampoline. In addition, there is an enclosed field next to the property which can be used for additional seating and is ideal for walking the dogs but please note there is a large unfenced pond and stream. There is off road parking for three cars. Need to know: 4 bedrooms 1 king size with additional single bed and 3 doubles, one with additional single bed. 1 bathroom and 1 en suite shower room. The field next door does belong to the owners but is also used by a friend sometimes to walk their dog so it is not totally private.
