Good facilities and equipment/utensils. Really enjoyed our stay. Window blind in upstairs twin room not working upon arrival, barbecue not emptied by last users, front door key lock not always engaging. Signage for the cottage could be improved. Not easy to find in the dark. Despite these small things we had a good time at Apple Tree.

It was light, airy, spacious and warm. Everything worked and the facilities provided were good. The floors and stairs creaked a lot, which made it difficult to move around when others were sleeping. The bed being under the roof in the second bedroom meant that I banged myself several times, and I am 5ft tall! Also, we would suggest a wider trunk under the stairs to prevent people from banging their heads when using it. However, the welcome pack was thorough, the owner very responsive when needed, and the situation was charming. The recommendation to use the restaurant called Ounce in the village was excellent.
