The village of Oxhill is surrounded by open fields and lies near to the civil parish of Tysoe where you can find the nearest shops for picking up any essentials during your stay. The surrounding area is rich with stately homes, castles and manor houses to visit, with several being National Trust properties including Upton House and Gardens with 1930s period displays and walking trails, the 17th century Chastleton House with a conserved Jacobean garden, 20th century gardens of Hidcote and the 12th century Charlecote Park, all a scenic drive from Oak View. Venture up to Warwick to see the imposing and iconic clifftop Warwick Castle, complete with a castle dungeon to explore, with many beautiful green areas within the city as well as Warwick Racecourse and Warwick Golf Centre. Tysoe is a civil parish comprising three settlements; Upper Tysoe, Middle Tysoe and Lower Tysoe. Within this charming community, which rests alongside the northern tip of the Cotswolds aonb in Warwickshire, is a village shop and a local pub, along with a Post Office, park and primary school. This delightful village is a perfect touring base for the northern Cotswolds as well as the rich county of Warwickshire being just an easy drive from Stratford-upon-Avon.
