A beautifully renovated, single-storey barn conversion, situated in the grounds of the owner's sheep and arable farm in a rural hamlet on the outskirts of Clifford Chambers, 3 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon. Ideally situated within easy reach of the local shop and pub, The Roost features open plan living with stone tiled floors, exposed beams and a wonderful outlook onto the large garden, which is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the far-reaching country views. The tiny, chocolate box village of Clifford Chambers boasts a welcoming pub serving delicious, home-cooked food, whilst world renowned Stratford-upon-Avon with its striking Tudor buildings, Royal Shakespeare Theatre and abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants is just 3 miles away.

World renowned as the home of the English poet and play write, William Shakespeare, the charming market town of Stratford-upon-Avon dates back to medieval times, offering visitors a great insight into what life was like for this legendary author. With historical buildings such as Shakespeare's birth place, the cottage in which his wife, Anne Hathaway lived and the incredible theatre. In addition Stratford-upon-Avon also boasts a good selection of pubs and restaurants and is within easy reach of Hidcote Gardens, Chipping Campden and Warwick Castle – the latter of which displays jousting and a medieval trebuchet in summer.

This stay was within 12 months of the previous one and everything was the same, no changes at all. For things I would point out:- * whilst the sofa is comfortable it is heavily stained - not the best look * still no welcome package - after a drive tea, coffee and milk would be helpful * no interaction with owner * final day, yes checkout 10 am, (all good with me) but cleaner was hovering from 9am, slightly unnerving Would I return? Quite probably but would look at other reviews first. Great accommodation but needs a little tlc.

owners didn't make themselves known we phoned before we arrived as sykes had said, the person who answered seemed bewildered as to why we had called. The morning that we leaving there was a lady hovering in the utility room from around 8.30 which made us feel very uncomfortable and somewhat rushed. While we were loading the car she didn't speak, we felt very uncomfortable. Apart from we gad a lovely time perfect location fit stratford upon avon
