Weston Cottage is a charming, Grade II listed building built in 1650 and located in the beautiful Warwickshire village of Welford-On-Avon, just a 10min drive to the historic town of Stratford upon Avon. This stunning property has been newly renovated so that it maintains its historic character, blending its original beams and old floorboards. This cottage provides all the contemporary amenities which is a welcoming base for couples, friends and families. Please note: Weston Cottage features a traditional steep staircase but there is a second, new character oak staircase which meets modern standards. Being a character cottage, doorways and beams are delightfully low – please mind your head.
Inside, the layout is practical and well considered. Downstairs there is a large hallway with a cloakroom with a WC and basin. There is a fully equipped kitchen which has everything needed for a self-catered stay, while the dining room provides a comfortable space to sit down together over meals. The sitting room is ideal for evenings in, featuring an electric fire and a Smart TV. Upstairs, there are three spacious bedrooms. The new oak staircase serves two bedrooms, one king size bedroom and a twin room which both share the smart shower room. The old character staircase serves the other king size bedroom with its own en-suite shower room.
There is an inter-connecting door between the two king size bedrooms which can be locked from either side. The pet-friendly cottage benefits from an enclosed south-facing courtyard with outdoor furniture and a hot tub, offering a great place to unwind after days spent exploring. There is a designated car parking space in Weston Close car park and on-road parking spaces for 2 cars on a first come, first served basis. There is also plenty of parking nearby at the Maypole.
