Ryepiece Cottage in Stratford-upon-Avon is praised for its cosy charm, comfortable furnishings, and beautiful garden. Guests appreciate the warm welcome from the hosts and the property's proximity to local attractions. While some guests suggest improvements, the overall sentiment is positive, with the cottage offering a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
Cleanliness receives positive remarks, but there are instances of dissatisfaction with some guests noting areas that required additional cleaning. The majority, however, found the cottage clean and well-maintained.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and proximity to Stratford-upon-Avon, local shops, pubs, and attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
Comfort is well-regarded with guests mentioning cosy settings and comfortable beds. However, a few guests noted issues with seating and the heaviness of the duvet.
Facilities are generally appreciated, especially the garden and kitchen. Some guests suggest the addition of certain amenities and report maintenance issues, which slightly lowers the score.
While some guests mention the lack of a welcome pack and suggest that small gestures would enhance the experience, there is not enough consistent information on thoughtfulness or gifts to provide a score.

The location was excellent for exploring Stratford and other Cotswold villages. There are also several NT places within a few miles. The cottage was very comfortable with constantly warm under floor heating - so no need for slippers! It is a barn conversion which has been done very well, showing many of the original timbers.

Inside there was a large table, a compact kitchen with a rather complex , but effective combined microwave and oven and superb, eclectic book collection plus games. TV and WiFi effective. Bathroom spacious with two very useful safety grab handles on efficient shower Bed v comfortable with cotton bedding. Two USA ( I think) adapters supplied but no two pin socket for shaver, electric toothbrush. Tea, coffee left for us and milk offered if we needed any. We asked for teapot and were supplied with v.nice antique one! Simon also gave us a bowl of very tasty homegrown tomatoes. Garden v attractive. V helpful, nice host, though not always around, but did respond to texts/ emails . V useful shop/ post office/ cafe/ plant stall in village.

Only few minor issues, WIFI was very weak kept dropping out, could do with more crockery i.e pasta/soup bowls etc, kitchen tap had some mould around it, otherwise a good place to stay.
