Stratford-upon-Avon, located on the banks of the River Avon in the picturesque Warwickshire countryside, is a city rich in history and culture. William Shakespeare was born in Stratford, England, which is a well-known tourist site and home to the Royal Shakespeare Company. The gorgeous River Avon offers a variety of activities, such as cruises, rowing, and motorboat rides, and is surrounded by beautifully manicured parks, or see some of the nearby National Trust locations before dining at one of Stratford's top eateries or drinking establishments. This is a great holiday spot all year round because it's close to Warwick and the Cotswold villages of Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh.

You should want for nothing but if you do then David, the property owner, is only a message away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Home Straight and look forward to a return visit.

David the owner gave us lots of useful suggestions for things to do in the area. We walked along the river into town, visited the RSC theatre, went to several nearby NT properties and did a lovely drive into the Cotswolds. Would thoroughly recommend.

And the effort made by our host to give us a comfortable and enjoyable stay was greatly appreciated. We would be more than happy to make a return visit.
