A beautiful lodge with a hot tub – perfect for a relaxing gathering with friends and family. It did feel a little out of the way, and while that’s part of the charm of a retreat like this, I suppose I expected a little more in terms of things to do.My teenagers found it boring (typical teens!), so I’d say this place is definitely best suited for those looking to completely switch off and do absolutely nothing – which, to be fair, is exactly what some people need.Gilly’s Frisbee Golf, just over the road from the main gate, was an unexpected highlight – absolutely brilliant and highly recommended!I’d most definitely return, but next time… without the kids!

Beautiful lodge, the surroundings were a little drab, would be nice if there was a pond or something to look at. But the weather was great so we had a lovely week in and out of the hot tub.

We had a lovely weekend in lodge 13 for my Mum's 65th birthday. Lots of space in the lodge for all 10 of us and we enjoyed a comfortable stay. We were disappointed that not all TVs worked properly and/or had remotes missing and the twin bedrooms lacked curtains so children were awake early. The surroundings were stunning. We were lucky to have lovely weather so it would have been nice to sit outside on the second balcony when the sun moved but no chairs or sun loungers restricted this.
