Cottage is in a lovely setting and has all relevant amenities. It is in the perfect spot for visiting nearby counties and attractions. However, we found the upstairs of the cottage cool as there is no heating in the bedroom and the mattresses were uncomfortable.

I had a great week at The Byre, the owners were friendly and welcoming and everything you would need was in the cottage right down to a shoe horn. It was a lovely warm and comfortable cottage with gorgeous views of the fields and I spotted deer several times. The owners beautiful garden is a perfect setting and the Byre was so convenient for many National Trust properties as well as Stratford and the surrounding villages.
