This Shropshire cottage is surrounded by lovely scenic countryside, a haven for walkers and cyclists, while the medieval castle, excellent shops, pubs and restaurants of historic Ludlow are close by. The spectacular hills surrounding Church Stretton, Acton Scott Historic Working Farm, the Severn Valley Steam Railway and the ten museums of the Ironbridge Gorge are all worth exploring. A lovely Shropshire cottage perfect at any time of year.

Comfortable, spotless, well equipped, had everything we needed. We made great use of the small private garden to the rear and the deck and chairs to the front. It was brilliant to sit and watch the chickens, the birds, the rabbits and squirrels in the garden. We had such a relaxing week. The owners are on hand if needed, but not intrusive, they were lovely, friendly and helpful. My partner managed to leave his passport behind and we were contacted within an hour of leaving to let us know. Huge thanks to the owner for sending this back to us registered post with no charge! Hoping to come back next year.

The bed is particularly comfortable and the accommodation has everything you need. We enjoyed the private garden space and covered decking area. The host was very friendly and welcoming, especially to our children her were leant some bikes to play on, allowed to go on the swing, and shown some newly hatched chicks! Thank you very much for a lovely stay.
