Guests have praised The Log Cabin for its cleanliness, welcoming hosts, and peaceful location. The property offers a comfortable stay with a well-equipped kitchen and cosy atmosphere. The charming secret garden and presence of chickens add to the delightful experience. While some guests mentioned minor issues with the shower and seating comfort, the overall sentiment is one of satisfaction and enjoyment, with many expressing a desire to return.
The cabin is consistently described as very clean, with multiple reviews highlighting its spotlessness. This indicates a high standard of cleanliness maintained by the owners.
The location is praised for being peaceful and great for touring the area, with proximity to local attractions and countryside walks. The presence of wildlife adds to the charm.
Comfort is generally well-regarded, with mentions of a comfy bed and supportive hosts. However, some guests found the sofas and mattress hard, and the shower's hot water limited, which slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are appreciated, especially the well-equipped kitchen and extras like TV and DVDs. However, there are comments about the need for updates, such as the fridge and garden furniture, and the limited hot water supply.
Guests mention thoughtful touches like fresh eggs, milk, and flowers upon arrival. While these gifts are warmly received, it is noted that such personal touches, though delightful, may not be guaranteed for every stay.
