Please note: There are steps and a small pond in the garden. Due to the age of the property there is a small steep open sided staircase and care must be taken when using, a hand rail will help guests to use the stairs.. The Old Toll House is a traditional, detached, country holiday cottage in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge and is ideally placed to explore this world-famous Heritage Site. It sits less than 110 yards from the River Severn and is a short walk from the popular Coalport China Museum, or only a 5-minute drive away from Ironbridge.
This detached holiday cottage benefits from close proximity to a variety of great pubs and restaurants. People who enjoy the outdoor life are spoilt for choice; there is a National Cycle Route 55 yards from the property and cycle hire is available in the close by village of Jackfield. For the more adventurous, canoe hire is available in Ironbridge. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

We enjoyed our stay at the Old Toll House, it's agreat location for walks by the river and visits to the many local museums. Great pubs within easy walking distance. Clear parking guidance, a little traffic noise late at night, well equipped and good WiFi. Would stay here again.

Location was great ,however the cottage was in need of some tlc ,sofa was uncomfortable kitchen was a little understocked ,there were 4 TVs but only 1 had batteries in the remote and couldn't get the BBC in the living room also the garden was a little overgrown ,all in all it just needs a little work to be done and it will be so much better
