Lovely cottage. Very nicely renovated inside and clean. Well equipped. hot tub a lovely treat- wood burning so involves some user involvement but straight forward. Host welcoming. Location- it's in the middle of no where which suited us fine. Food for families as on working farm, nearby to lots of attractions. Village near by.

Babbling brook barn has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were greeted by Henry who told us all we needed to know. It’s location puts your nearby to many places to visit. We stayed for a week with our Boerboel and had a very relaxing time. The wood fired hot tub is a bonus which we used to relax in the evening after our dog walks.Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Babbling Brook cottage. The cottage is amazing and has everything that you could possibly think of or need for your stay from cling film to books, games and DVDs. The cottage has been done to high spec and is super clean and tidy. The electric reclining sofas were also a big hit with my family ! Also a big plus is that there’s a washing machine and dishwasher, so I was able to do most of my washing before coming home! The only things that you need to take are : laundry pods, food and shower / bath stuff, which was great for us. We had an Ocado food order delivery on the first night of our stay that set us up for the duration. We took a break from city life, and had family visit us over the week, so didn’t get about too much - but it’s close to Lichfield, Rugeley and Uttoxeter (for the races) and also close enough to Trentham Gardens / Monkey Forest and Alton Towers. There’s a really nice farm shop and restaurant at Canalside which is about 20 minutes away and also around the same distance to Shugborough. We took our daughter riding near Cannock Chase which also wasn’t too far. Thank you for a lovely stay, would definitely visit again.
